This week's readers' layout is a model railway layout from Roger Giles - Lancefield Junction

Roger sent in some excellent photographs of his OO gauge layout. He writes:

"The first photo is of Lancefield gas & coke, it is an amalgamation of Metcalfe, Scaledale, Walther Cornerstone (the gasometer) kits plus a scratch built retort house. I had to do a fair bit of research to find pictures of 1950-ish gas works. I ended with a pastiche of several buildings which seems to work OK. I have used Veissmann lights for the yard."

"One picture is of my goods yard, where the layout started, I wanted a gritty smokey 1950s feel for the project, so plenty of weathering!, I am not a purist when it comes to region so it an eclectic mix of traffic. I think the whole thing will be industrial."

"The third pic. is of a team of painters enlisted to paint the gasometer, I think they maybe some time!"

Another excellent photo of Roger's is this one, shared on the British Railway Modelling Facebook page:
